Joe Scott is the Broward County Supervisor of Elections and the founder of Every Voter Counts.
Service to our nation is in Joe's DNA. His Grandma Carrie was the first Black woman to vote in Wilcox County, Alabama. His mom was an educator for over 40 years in Broward County Public Schools. Joe's dad is a retired army sergeant major and disabled veteran. His wife of 16 years is an army veteran and nurse anesthetist who serves South Florida hospitals.
Joe graduated from West Point Military Academy with a degree in computer science. He served five years in the US Army where he rose to the rank of Captain. He holds an MBA from Villanova University and has over 20 years of experience in leadership and technology. Joe was awarded the Bronze Star as a combat leader in Iraq.
